How to read the model number
Casio packs a lot into the code, and knowing it helps you search for exactly the watch you want:
- D (as in MTP-B195D) means a stainless steel bracelet. L means a genuine leather strap.
- The number after the dash is the dial colour: 1 black, 2 blue, 3 green, 7 white.
Steel bracelet or leather strap?
The steel D versions weigh about 114 g, feel solid and suit Pakistan's heat and humidity: a quick rinse keeps them clean, and the one-touch three-fold clasp is easy to use. The leather L versions are much lighter at about 56 g and look a little more formal, but leather does not like water or sweat, so they are better for office and evening wear.
